Radio Antenna Cord -- Removal |
1. PRECAUTION |
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).
3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY |
w/o Sliding Roof:
Remove the roof headlining assembly (Click here).
w/ Sliding Roof:
Remove the roof headlining assembly (Click here).
4. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY |
w/o Sliding Roof:
Detach the 2 clamps and remove the antenna from the notch on the rear of the roof headlining.
Remove the antenna cord from the roof headlining.
Remove the double-sided tape from the roof headlining.
w/ Sliding Roof:
Detach the 4 clamps and remove the antenna from the notch on the rear of the roof headlining.
Remove the antenna cord from the roof headlining.
Remove the double-sided tape from the roof headlining.
5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY |
Remove the instrument panel safety pad (Click here).
6. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-display) |
for LHD:
Detach the 8 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
for RHD:
Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
7. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Multi-display) |
for LHD:
Detach the 7 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
for RHD:
Detach the 5 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
