DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends signals to the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver via a direct line.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
  1. When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the GTS and write them down before removal.
  2. It is necessary to perform initialization (Click here) after registration (Click here) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver after the ECU has been replaced.
  3. If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to the Service Bulletin.
1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU))

  1. Turn the engine switch off.

  1. Disconnect the L65*1 or L75*2 tire pressure warning ECU and receiver connector.

    1. *1: w/o Front Antenna
    2. *2: w/ Front Antenna

  1. Disconnect the E118 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:

    L75-5 (PRG2) - E118-5 (PRG)*2

    		Below 1 Ω

    		10 kΩ or higher
