Clutch Master Cylinder (For Rhd) Disassembly

  1. REMOVE CLUTCH RESERVOIR GROMMET

  2. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD

  3. REMOVE PISTON AND SPRING

Clutch Master Cylinder (For Rhd) -- Disassembly



1. REMOVE CLUTCH RESERVOIR GROMMET


Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Fix the master cylinder in a vise.

  1. Using a pin punch and hammer, tap out the slotted spring pin.

  1. Remove the inlet union and grommet.



2. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD


Land Cruiser. Urj200, 202 Grj200 Vdj200

  1. Loosen the lock nut, and then remove the clevis.

  1. Remove the lock nut from the push rod.

  1. Remove the boot.

  1. Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring and plate.

  1. Remove the push rod.



3. REMOVE PISTON AND SPRING

  1. Remove the piston and spring from the master cylinder.
