  1. REMOVE NO. 2 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LENS

Shift Lever (W/ Entry And Start System) -- Disassembly


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE NO. 2 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the screw and No. 2 indoor electrical key antenna assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.



2. REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the shift lock solenoid connector.

  1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.



3. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LENS
HINT:
Only perform this procedure when replacement of the position indicator lens is necessary.

  1. Remove the position indicator housing assembly (Click here).

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the shift lock release button and shift lock release spring from the position indicator housing assembly.

  1. Remove the position indicator slide cover with No. 2 position indicator slide cover.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the position indicator plate sub-assembly from the position indicator lens.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the position indicator lens from the position indicator housing assembly.
