Hazard Warning Switch Removal

  1. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Manual Cooler System)

  3. REMOVE INTEGRATION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Cooler System)

Hazard Warning Switch -- Removal



1. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY


  1. for Manual Air Conditioning System:



      Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Lighting (Ext).Lighting System.Hazard Warning Switch  Removal
    1. Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 10 claws and 4 clips.



    3. Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
    4. Detach the 4 claws and disconnect the air conditioner control.

    5. Disconnect the connectors and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.



  1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:



      Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Lighting (Ext).Lighting System.Hazard Warning Switch  Removal
    1. Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 8 claws and 4 clips.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.



2. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Manual Cooler System)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly.



3. REMOVE INTEGRATION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Cooler System)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Remove the 4 screws.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Remove the 4 screws.

  1. Detach the 3 claws and disconnect the lower heater control base.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25
  1. Disconnect the No. 1 cooler wire from the integration panel sub-assembly (air conditioning panel) as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Before performing the procedure above, the hazard switch must be turned off. If the switch is on while the base is removed, damage will occur to the switch.
