  1. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  5. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK CLOTH

  14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

  15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

  16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  17. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  18. REMOVE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Reclining)

  19. REMOVE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Slide)

  20. REMOVE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear Lifter)

  21. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

  22. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH

  24. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT WIRE

  25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

Front Seat Assembly (For Power Seat) -- Disassembly


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


1. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  1. Apply protective tape around the front seat cushion shield.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  1. Apply protective tape around the front seat cushion shield.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Detach the claw and guide.

  1. Remove the front seat cushion shield LH with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.



4. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.



5. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the front power seat switch LH.



6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the claw and guide.

  1. Pull the front seat inner cushion shield LH to detach the claw and remove the front seat inner cushion shield LH.



7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.

  1. Roll up the front seat cushion cover LH.

  1. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.



8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

  1. Remove the front seat cushion cover LH.



9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  1. Remove the hog rings.

  1. Bend the 2 front seat cushion frame claws upward.



  1. Detach the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.



11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Disconnect the No. 2 seat wire connector and detach the wire harness clamp.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the hog rings from the wires of the separate type front seatback cover, and then roll up the separate type front seatback cover.

  1. Pass the No. 2 seat wire through the hole of the separate type front seatback cover.

  1. Remove the hog rings and detach the strap of the separate type front seatback cover, and then roll up the separate type front seatback cover and No. 1 seatback cloth.

  1. Pass the strap of the separate type front seatback cover through the holes of the separate type front seatback pad.



  1. Remove the hog rings and roll up the separate type front seatback cover.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest support assemblies and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.



12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

  1. Remove the separate type front seatback pad.



13. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK CLOTH

  1. Remove the No. 1 seatback cloth.



14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.



15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.



16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

21. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 4 claws to and remove the front lower seat cushion shield RH.



22. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.



23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH

  1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat wire LH.



24. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT WIRE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and remove the No. 2 seat wire.



25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly.
