Radio Antenna Cord -- Removal |
| 1. PRECAUTION |
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR1006X.html).
| 2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR300CX.html).
| 3. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY |
| 4. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY |
w/o Roof Antenna:
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 4 clamps shown in the illustration. Then remove the antenna cord.
w/ Roof Antenna:
Disconnect the connectors.
Detach the 5 clamps shown in the illustration.
Remove the clamp bolt and antenna cord.

for Extra Cab:

| 6. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Extra Cab) |
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
Detach the 10 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
| 7. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab) |
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
Detach the 8 clamps and remove the antenna cord.
