Radio Receiver Removal

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)

  5. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)

Radio Receiver -- Removal



1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR1006X.html).


2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR300CX.html).


3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY


  1. for Manual Air Conditioning System:



      Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Audio Video.Audio And Visual System (For Radio Receiver Type).Radio Receiver Removal

    1. Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 10 claws and 4 clips.



      3. Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

    3. Detach the 4 claws and disconnect the air conditioner control.

    4. Disconnect the connectors and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.



  1. for Automatic Air Conditioning System:



      Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Audio Video.Audio And Visual System (For Radio Receiver Type).Radio Receiver Removal

    1. Put protective tape around the center instrument cluster finish panel.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 8 claws and 4 clips.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel.



4. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 4 screws.

  1. Disconnect all the connectors and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.



5. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 4 screws.

  1. Disconnect all the connectors and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.



6. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket from the radio receiver.



7. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket from the radio receiver.



8. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket from the radio receiver.



9. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket from the radio receiver.
