INSPECT FRONT DIFFERENTIAL PINION THRUST WASHER
INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL PINION SHAFT

| 1. INSPECT FRONT DIFFERENTIAL PINION THRUST WASHER |
Using a micrometer, measure the thickness of the thrust washer.
- Minimum thickness:
- 0.9 mm (0.035 in.)
If the thickness is less than the minimum, replace the thrust washer.
| 2. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL PINION SHAFT |
Using a micrometer, measure the outside diameter.
- Minimum diameter:
- 17.975 mm (0.70768 in.)
If the outside diameter is less than the minimum, replace the No. 1 differential pinion shaft.
