HEADLIGHT RELAY - ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT RELAY (Marking: HEAD LP)

Remove the headlight relay from the engine room R/B No.1.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  • Standard resistance:
  • Tester ConnectionSpecified Condition
    3 - 510 kΩ or higher
    3 - 5Below 1 Ω (when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
