Air Pump (W/ Secondary Air Injection System) -- Removal |
| 1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.
 |
Detach the wire harness clamp.
Loosen the hose clamp.
Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner.
| 2. REMOVE AIR PUMP INLET |
Remove the bolt and air pump inlet.

| 3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE |
Remove the No. 1 air injection system hose from the air pump inlet pipe.
| 4. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE |
Disconnect the No. 4 air injection system hose from the hose clamp.
Loosen the 2 clamps and remove the No. 4 air injection system hose.
| 5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL UPPER |
Remove the 5 clips and front fender apron seal upper.
| 6. REMOVE AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET |
Disconnect the air pump connector.
 |
Using a clip remover, detach the 2 claws from the body panel and air pump inlet pipe.
Disconnect the No. 3 air injection system hose from the air pump inlet pipe.
 |
Disconnect the No. 2 air injection system hose from the air pump inlet pipe.
Remove the 3 bolts and air pump assembly with bracket.
| 7. REMOVE AIR PUMP INLET PIPE |
Remove the bolt and air pump inlet pipe.
| 8. REMOVE AIR PUMP COVER |
Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the air pump cover.
 |
| 9. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE |
Detach the clamp from the No. 2 air injection system hose and wire harness.

Detach the clamp from the bracket.
Loosen the clamp and remove the No. 2 air injection system hose from the air pump assembly.
| 10. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE |
Remove the No. 3 air injection system hose from the air pump assembly.
| 11. REMOVE AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY |
Detach the 3 fittings of the air pump insulators and remove the air pump from the bracket.
