Heated Oxygen Sensor (W/ Secondary Air Injection System) Removal

  1. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)

Heated Oxygen Sensor (W/ Secondary Air Injection System) -- Removal


CAUTION:
  1. Wear protective gloves when removing the heated oxygen sensor.
  2. The exhaust pipe assembly is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.
  3. Confirm that the exhaust pipe assembly has cooled down before removing it.


1. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)

  1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

  1. Detach the sensor wire from the clamp.

  1. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor.
