Side Mudguard (For Hatchback) -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL SIDE MUDGUARD PROTECTOR |
Using a piece of cloth, rub the remaining double-sided adhesive tape off the side mudguard protector.
- NOTICE:
- Installing the side mudguard protector with any double-sided tape remaining on the side mudguard may cause adhesion failure. Therefore, completely remove the double-sided tape.
Using a non-residue solvent, clean the attachment surface.
Apply Primer M to the installation part of the side mudguard.
- HINT:
- If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.
Install a new side mudguard protector onto the side mudguard.
- NOTICE:
- Allow the primer to dry for 3 minutes or more.
- Throw away any leftover primer.
- Do not apply too much primer.
| 2. INSTALL SIDE MUDGUARD REAR PROTECTOR |
Using a piece of cloth, rub the remaining double-sided adhesive tape off the side mudguard rear protector.
- NOTICE:
- Installing the side mudguard rear protector with any double-sided tape remaining on the side mudguard may cause adhesion failure. Therefore, completely remove the double-sided tape.
Using a non-residue solvent, clean the attachment surface.

| 3. INSTALL SIDE MUDGUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Engage the 7 clips and install the side mudguard.
Install the 8 retainers.
Tighten the screw.
| 4. INSTALL ROCKER PANEL MOULDING COVER |
Engage the 2 claws and install the rocker panel moulding cover.
