Name Plate (For Sedan) -- Removal |
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Fog Light) |
2. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER (w/ Small Front Spoiler) |
Remove the 2 screws, the 10 bolts and the front spoiler cover.

3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER |
Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.

w/ Front Spoiler:
Remove the 5 screws and the 3 bolts.
Remove the 2 screw grommets.
Remove the 6 clips.

w/o Front Spoiler:
Remove the 7 screws and the 3 bolts.
Remove the 2 screw grommets.
Remove the 6 clips.

w/ Fog Light:
Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front bumper cover.
Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

w/o Fog Light:
Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM |
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the radiator grille emblem.

5. REMOVE NO. 6 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE |
Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.

Using an infrared light, heat the No. 6 luggage compartment door name plate.
- CAUTION:
- Do not burn yourself with the heated luggage compartment door panel or infrared light.
- HINT:
- Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 1 to 2 minutes.
Using a gasket scraper with its tip wrapped in protective tape, gradually peel the adhesive surface and remove the No. 6 luggage compartment door name plate.

6. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE |
Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.

Using an infrared light, heat the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.
- CAUTION:
- Do not burn yourself with the heated luggage compartment door panel or infrared light.
- HINT:

7. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM |
Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.

Using an infrared light, heat the symbol emblem.
- CAUTION:
- Do not burn yourself with the heated luggage compartment door panel or infrared light.
- HINT:
- Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 1 to 2 minutes.
Using a gasket scraper with its tip wrapped in protective tape, gradually peel the adhesive surface and remove the symbol emblem.
