DTC B1451 Compressor Solenoid Circuit


DESCRIPTION

In this circuit, the compressor with pulley assembly receives a refrigerant compression demand signal from the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
Based on this signal, the compressor with pulley assembly changes the amount of compressor output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Turn the Techstream on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.

  1. According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

    Air Conditioner

    Min.: 0 A
    Max.: 0.997 A
    		Value changes between 0.12 A and 0.997 A in accordance with compressor operation

3.INSPECT COMPRESSOR WITH PULLEY ASSEMBLY

  1. Inspect the compressor with pulley assembly (YARIS_NCP93 RM000002CVX04PX.html).

  1. Disconnect the C64 compressor with pulley assembly connector.

  1. Disconnect the D130 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    C64-2 (SOL+) - D130-11 (SOL+)
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    C64-2 (SOL+) - Body ground
    		Always
    		10 kΩ or higher
