  1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER

  5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH

  10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

Rear Seat Assembly (For Hatchback Fold Down Seat Type) -- Disassembly


CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

  1. Remove the 44 hog rings and the bench type rear seat cushion cover from the bench type rear seat cushion pad.



2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 rear seat headrest assemblies.



3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the rear seat center headrest assembly.



4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER

Protective Tape
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the remaining parts.

  1. Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 4 claws to remove the rear seatback cover.



5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON

HINT:

Use the same procedure for both sides.

  1. Turn the rear seatback lock release button in the direction indicated by arrow to remove it.



6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET

HINT:
Yaris. Ncp93, 131
Use the same procedure for both sides.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear seatback stop button grommet.



7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  1. Disengage the hook.



    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Disengage the 2 hooks and unfasten the 2 zippers.

  1. Disengage the 12 claws to remove the 6 rear seat headrest supports.



8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.



9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock assembly RH from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.



10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.


11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

  1. Remove the 12 hog rings and the separate type rear seatback cover from the separate type rear seatback pad.
