  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle not Involved in Collision)

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle Involved in Collision and Airbag not Deployed)

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle not Involved in Collision)

  1. Perform a diagnostic system check (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XFE0D2X.html).

  1. With the front seat side airbag installed on the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the front seat side airbag with a new one:

    1. Any cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the front seat airbag.


2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Vehicle Involved in Collision and Airbag not Deployed)

  1. Perform a diagnostic system check (YARIS_NCP93 RM000000XFE0D2X.html).

  1. With the front seat side airbag removed from the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the front seat side airbag with a new one:

    1. Any cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the front seat airbag.
    2. Any cracks or other damage to the wire harness or connector.
