Power Steering System (For Hatchback) -- Dtc Check / Clear



CHECK DTC

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

  3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  4. Turn the Techstream on.

  5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Trouble Codes.

  6. Read the DTCs following the display on the Techstream.

  7. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for DTC information (YARIS_NCP93 RM000001AKD032X.html).


CLEAR DTC

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

  3. Start the engine.

  4. Turn the Techstream on.

  5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Trouble Codes.

  6. Clear the DTCs by following the display on the Techstream.

  7. Turn the ignition switch off.

  8. Disconnect the Techstream from the DLC3.
