  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  5. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL STOPPER BOLT (w/o Cruise Control System)

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Cruise Control System)

  10. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING

  11. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION

  14. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL PAD

Clutch Pedal (For Hatchback) -- Removal



1. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 <A> screws.

  1. Disengage the claw and the guide and remove the instrument panel under cover.



2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  1. Disengage the 5 clips and the 2 claws and remove the instrument panel finish panel.



3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  1. Disengage the 2 clips and the 5 claws and remove the instrument panel finish panel.



4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

5. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps.

  1. Push the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis upward and release it toward the left side of the vehicle.

  1. Remove the bolt, the 2 nuts and the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.



7. REMOVE CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the nut and the clutch start switch assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.



8. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL STOPPER BOLT (w/o Cruise Control System)

  1. Loosen the lock nut and remove the clutch pedal stopper bolt from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.



9. REMOVE NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Cruise Control System)

  1. Loosen the lock nut and remove the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.



10. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING

  1. Remove the clutch pedal spring.



11. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Remove the bolt, the nut and the clutch pedal sub-assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Turn the nut while holding the bolt.


12. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

  1. Remove the 2 clutch pedal bushes and the clutch pedal shaft collar from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.



13. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION


    Yaris. Ncp93, 131

  1. Remove the No. 1 clutch pedal cushion from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.



14. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL PAD

  1. Remove the clutch pedal pad from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.
