Speed Sensor (For Sedan) Removal

  1. REMOVE BATTERY

  2. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

  3. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

  4. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR

  5. REMOVE SPEEDOMETER SENSOR

Speed Sensor (For Sedan) -- Removal



1. REMOVE BATTERY

  1. Disconnect the cable from the battery terminal.

  1. Loosen the nut and remove the battery clamp.

  1. Remove the battery.



2. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY


3. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

  1. Separate the wire harness clamp from the battery carrier.

  1. Remove the 5 bolts and remove the battery carrier.



4. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR

  1. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

  1. Remove the bolt and the speed sensor from the transaxle.

  1. Remove the O-ring from the speed sensor.



5. REMOVE SPEEDOMETER SENSOR

  1. Disconnect speedometer sensor connector.

  1. Remove the bolt and the speedometer sensor from the transaxle.

  1. Remove the clip and the speedometer driven gear from the speedometer sensor.

  1. Remove the O-ring from the speedometer sensor.
