  1. INSTALL FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BRACKET

  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP

  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/o Front No. 2 Speaker)

  8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/ Front No. 2 Speaker)

  9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  11. INSTALL FRONT ARMREST UPPER BASE PANEL

  12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL

  13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Power Window Regulator Motor (For Front Door) -- Installation



1. INSTALL FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
The regulator arm must be below the intermediate position when installing the power window regulator motor.


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T25), install the front power window regulator motor assembly with the 3 screws.

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m{55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf}
    HINT:
    A new front window regulator uses self-tapping screws to thread new installation holes when the self-tapping screws are inserted.


2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the front door window regulator sub-assembly.

  1. Install the temporary bolt to the front door window regulator sub-assembly.

  1. Temporarily install the front door window regulator sub-assembly.

  1. Tighten the temporary bolt and 5 bolts to install the front door window regulator sub-assembly.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the connector.



3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141.Window Glass.Power Window Control System.Power Window Regulator Motor (For Front Door) Installation

  1. Insert the front door glass sub-assembly into the front door panel along the front door glass run as shown in the illustration.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Install the front door glass sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}


4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

  1. Apply butyl tape to the front door panel.

  1. Pass the front door lock remote control cable and rear door inside locking cable through a new front door service hole cover.

  1. Attach the front door service hole cover according to the reference points on the front door panel.

    NOTICE:
    Securely install the front door service hole cover preventing wrinkles and air bubbles.


  1. w/ Power door lock:



      Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

    1. Connect the connector.



5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BRACKET

  1. Install the front door trim bracket with the 2 screws.



6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Install the front door inner glass weatherstrip.



7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/o Front No. 2 Speaker)


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Engage the clip and clamp, and install the front door lower frame bracket garnish.



8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/ Front No. 2 Speaker)

  1. Connect the connector.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Engage the clip and clamp, and install the front door lower frame bracket garnish.



9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Connect the front door lock remote control cable and front door inside locking cable to the front door inside handle sub-assembly.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Engage the 2 claws and install the front door inside handle sub-assembly to the front door trim board.



10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Engage the front door trim board with the 5 claws on the front door inner glass weatherstrip.

  1. Engage the 10 clips and install the front door trim board to the front door panel.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Install the 2 screws.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Engage the claw to install the door armrest cap.



11. INSTALL FRONT ARMREST UPPER BASE PANEL

  1. Connect the connector.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Engage the 2 clips and 6 claws, and install the front armrest upper base panel.



12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Engage the 3 claws and install the front door inside handle bezel.



13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
