  1. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

  3. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR

Front Evaporator Temperature Sensor -- Removal



1. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Disengage each clamp and remove the air conditioning harness.



3. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and cooler expansion valve.



4. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the 4 screws.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lower heater case.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disengage the clamp, and remove the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly together with the No. 1 cooler thermistor.

  1. Remove the 2 O-rings.



5. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the No. 1 cooler thermistor from the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.
