CHECK CONNECTION OF NAVIGATION ANTENNA CORD

REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

REPLACE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

DTC B15C0 Short in GPS Antenna

DTC B15C1 Open in GPS Antenna


DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the navigation antenna assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK CONNECTION OF NAVIGATION ANTENNA CORD

  1. Check if the No. 1 navigation antenna cord sub-assembly is securely connected to the navigation receiver assembly.

    OK:
    No. 1 navigation antenna cord sub-assembly is securely connected.

SECURELY CONNECT NO. 1 NAVIGATION ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY
OK


2.REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Replace the No. 1 navigation antenna cord sub-assembly with a known good one and check if the same DTC is output again (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000002XBU00JX.html).

    1. Clear the DTCs (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000011BU0JSX.html).

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK:
      No DTCs are output.


NG
Go to step 3

3.REPLACE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  1. Replace the navigation antenna assembly with a known good one and check if the same DTC is output again (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000002XBU00JX.html).

    1. Clear the DTCs (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000011BU0JSX.html).

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK:
      No DTCs are output.
