  1. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE FORK SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE FORK BOOT

  4. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE RELEASE FORK SUPPORT

  6. REMOVE CLUTCH COVER ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE CLUTCH DISC ASSEMBLY

Clutch Unit (For C59) -- Removal



1. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE FORK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the clutch release fork with the clutch release bearing from the manual transaxle.



3. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE FORK BOOT


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the clutch release fork boot from the manual transaxle.



4. REMOVE CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the release bearing and clip from the clutch release fork.



5. REMOVE RELEASE FORK SUPPORT


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the release fork support from the manual transaxle.



6. REMOVE CLUTCH COVER ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141.Clutch.Clutch System (For C59).Clutch Unit (For C59) Removal

  1. Put matchmarks on the clutch cover assembly and the flywheel sub-assembly.

  1. Loosen each set bolt one turn at a time until the spring tension is released.

  1. Remove the set bolts and pull off the clutch cover.

    NOTICE:
    Do not drop the clutch disc.


7. REMOVE CLUTCH DISC ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
Keep the parts clutch disc lining, the pressure plate, and the surface of the flywheel sub-assembly free of oil and foreign matter.
