REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (except TMC Made)
REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)
Automatic Transaxle Assembly -- Removal |
| 1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE |
- HINT:

| 2. REMOVE FLYWHEEL HOUSING UNDER COVER |
Remove the flywheel housing under cover.
 |
| 3. REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY SETTING BOLT |
Remove the 6 torque converter assembly setting bolts while holding the crankshaft pulley bolt with a wrench.
- NOTICE:
- One of the 6 bolts has a different color than the other ones.

| 4. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR |
Remove the bolt, nut and front engine mounting insulator.
 |
| 5. REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR |
Remove the through bolt and rear engine mounting insulator.
 |
| 6. REMOVE OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (except TMC Made) |
Remove the 2 hose clamps and bolt, and disconnect the oil cooler.
 |
| 7. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (except TMC Made) |
Remove the transmission oil level gauge sub-assembly.
 |
Remove the bolt and transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.
Remove the O-ring from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.
| 8. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY |
Remove the terminal cap.
 |
Remove the nut and disconnect terminal 30.
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 2 bolts and starter assembly.
| 9. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE SUPPORT |
Separate the speed sensor connector and wire harness clamp.
 |
Remove the bolt and transmission control cable bracket from the automatic transaxle.
| 10. REMOVE NO. 1 TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE BRACKET |
Separate the 2 connectors and wire harness clamp.
 |
Remove the 2 bolts and remove the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket from the automatic transaxle.
| 11. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY |
Remove the 7 bolts and automatic transaxle from the engine.
 |
| 12. REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH |
Remove the 3 bolts and engine mounting bracket LH from the automatic transaxle.
 |
| 13. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET |
Remove the 4 bolts and front engine mounting bracket from the automatic transaxle.
 |
| 14. REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET |
Remove the 3 bolts and rear engine mounting bracket from the automatic transaxle.
 |
| 15. REMOVE OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made) |
Remove the 2 hose clamps, bolt and oil cooler tube sub-assembly.
 |
| 16. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made) |
Remove the transmission oil level gauge sub-assembly.
 |
Remove the bolt and transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.
Remove the O-ring from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.
| 17. REMOVE SPEEDOMETER DRIVEN HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY |
Remove the bolt and speedometer driven hole cover sub-assembly.
 |
| 18. REMOVE TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY |
Remove the torque converter assembly from the automatic transaxle.
