  1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

Intake Manifold -- Removal



1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

  1. Disconnect the 5 wire harness clamps.

  1. Remove the 2 engine cover joints and separate the wire harness clamp bracket.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disconnect the vapor feed hose, ventilation hose and vacuum hose from the intake manifold.

  1. Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, intake manifold stay and intake manifold.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.

  1. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

  1. Using a "TORX" socket wrench (E6), remove the 2 stud bolts from the intake manifold.
