Ignition Key Cylinder Light Installation

  1. INSTALL TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER

  2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER

  3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LH

  4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

Ignition Key Cylinder Light -- Installation



1. INSTALL TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER

  1. Align the transponder key amplifier with the upper bracket. Tilt the amplifier slightly and slide it into position.

  1. Push the transponder key amplifier to install it to the upper bracket.

    NOTICE:
    Do not push the amplifier with excessive force.


2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Engage the claw and install the upper steering column cover.

  1. Engage the 2 claws.

  1. Install the lower steering column cover with the 2 screws.

    Torque:
    2.0 N*m{20 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf}


3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LH

  1. Install the air hose and connect the connector.

  1. Engage the 2 claws and the DLC3.

  1. Engage the claw and the 4 clips.

  1. Instal the lower instrument panel finish panel LH with the screw <B> and bolt <A>.



4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Engage the 2 clips.

  1. Install the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH with the cowl side trim clip.



5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Engage the 7 claws and 3 clips, then install the front door scuff plate LH.
