  5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  7. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for Reclining Seat Type)

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Reclining Seat Type)

  13. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  15. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

  16. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Reclining Seat Type)

  17. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Reclining Seat Type)

  18. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  19. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  20. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH LH

  21. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH

  22. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

  23. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

  24. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER

  25. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER

  26. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  27. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)

  28. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly -- Removal



1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Seat Belt.Occupant Detection Sensor (For Manual Seat).Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly Removal

  1. Detach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion from the vehicle body.

    NOTICE:
    Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame can be deformed easily.

    1. Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.

    2. Repeat the step above for the other hook.

  1. Remove the seat cushion.



2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


3. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


4. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and separate type rear seatback assembly LH.



5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and separate type rear seatback assembly RH.



6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the bolt and rear side seatback assembly LH.



7. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)
HINT:
Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.


8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for Reclining Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claws and remove the 2 rear seatback covers.

    NOTICE:
    1. Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    2. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.


9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Reclining Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Seat Belt.Occupant Detection Sensor (For Manual Seat).Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly Removal

  1. Separate the 2 rear seat belts.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Seat Belt.Occupant Detection Sensor (For Manual Seat).Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly Removal

  1. Disengage the 3 clamps and then separate the cover.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts and separate type rear seatback assembly LH.



10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Reclining Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Seat Belt.Occupant Detection Sensor (For Manual Seat).Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly Removal

  1. Separate the rear seat belt.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Seat Belt.Occupant Detection Sensor (For Manual Seat).Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly Removal

  1. Disengage the 3 clamps and then separate the cover.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts and separate type rear seatback assembly RH.



11. REMOVE CENTER SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and center seatback assembly.



12. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disengage the 5 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear door scuff plate LH.



13. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH


14. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.


15. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH


16. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Reclining Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the bolt.

  1. Disengage the 2 clips and the claw and then separate the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Separate the rear seat reclining control cable and remove the reclining remote control lever sub-assembly.



17. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Reclining Seat Type)
HINT:
Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.


18. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly.



19. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor end of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH.



20. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH LH


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disengage the 5 clips and 2 claws, and remove the roof side inner garnish LH.



21. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.


22. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor end of the rear seat outer belt assembly.



23. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor end of the rear seat outer belt assembly.



24. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Seat Belt.Occupant Detection Sensor (For Manual Seat).Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly Removal

  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover.

    HINT:
    1. Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    2. Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side.


25. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Seat Belt.Occupant Detection Sensor (For Manual Seat).Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly Removal

  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder hole belt cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


26. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Disengage the 4 clips and the 5 claws.

  1. Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly then remove the package tray trim panel assembly.



27. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Disengage the 4 clips and the 5 claws.

  1. Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly then remove the package tray trim panel assembly.



28. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the bolt and the rear seat outer belt assembly.
