Front Speed Sensor Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER (w/o Front Fender Mudguard)

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Fender Mudguard)

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER (w/ Front Fender Mudguard)

  5. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

Front Speed Sensor -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.


1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER (w/o Front Fender Mudguard)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 5 clips and bolt.

  1. Remove the 5 screws, grommet and the front fender liner.



3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Fender Mudguard)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 3 screws and front fender mudguard sub-assembly.



4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER (w/ Front Fender Mudguard)

  1. Remove the 4 clips and bolt.

  1. Remove the 3 screws, grommet and the front fender liner.



5. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

  1. Disconnect the front speed sensor connector and clamp.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts from the body and the shock absorber assembly.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws from the steering knuckle.

  1. Remove the bolt and the front speed sensor.

    NOTICE:
    1. Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the front speed sensor tip.
    2. Clean the installation hole and the surface for the front speed sensor every time the front speed sensor is removed.
