BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR - ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR

Resistance inspection

Battery Current Sensor - On-Vehicle Inspection. 4GR-FSE CHARGING. Lexus IS250 IS220d GSE20 ALE20

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals.

  • Resistance:
  • Terminals: Positive (+) tester probe - Negative (-) tester probeResistance
    3 (VC5) - 2 (E2)3 to 10 kΩ
    2 (E2) - 3 (VC5)3 to 10 kΩ
    3 (VC5) - 1 (IB)Below 0.5 kΩ
    1 (IB) - 3 (VC5)Below 0.5 kΩ
    2 (E2) - 1 (IB)3 to 10 kΩ
    1 (IB) - 2 (E2)3 to 10 kΩ

If the results are not as specified, replace the battery current sensor assembly.
