INSTALL AIRBAG SENSOR REAR LH
INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for Short Body)
INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for Long Body)
CONNECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY OUTER LH
INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR BRACKET
INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR COVER
INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER BEZEL LH
INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (for Short Body)
INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (for Long Body)
INSTALL BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR MAT SUPPORT SIDE PLATE
INSTALL JACK CARRIER ASSEMBLY (for Short Body)
INSTALL REAR FLOOR NO. 3 BOARD
INSTALL REAR FLOOR NO. 2 BOARD
INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY
INSTALL REAR FLOOR NO. 1 BOARD
INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM POCKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Short Body)
INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Long Body)
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
Rear Airbag Sensor -- Installation |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- CAUTION:
- Be sure to read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing it (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000KT106QX.html).
| 1. INSTALL AIRBAG SENSOR REAR LH |
Install the airbag sensor with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- If the airbag sensor has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case, bracket or connector, replace it with a new one.
- When installing the airbag sensor, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.
| 2. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for Short Body) |
Install the belt hanger to the trim board.
Connect the power outlet socket connector.
Attach the 5 clips and 5 claws to install the trim board.
Install the bolt and 2 screws.
Connect the rear No.1 seat belt's floor anchor.
Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}
Install the anchor cover.

Install the belt hanger to the trim board.
Connect the power outlet socket connector.
Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the trim board.
Install the 2 screws and 2 bolts.
Connect the rear No.1 seat belt's floor anchor.
Connect the floor anchor with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}
Install the anchor cover.

Connect the seat belt's floor anchor with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}
Attach the lap belt outer anchor cover.
| 5. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR BRACKET |
| 6. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR COVER |
| 7. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER BEZEL LH |
| 8. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (for Short Body) |
Attach the 6 clips to install the finish plate.
| 9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (for Long Body) |
Attach the 2 claws and 6 clips to install the finish plate.
| 10. INSTALL BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP |
| 11. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR MAT SUPPORT SIDE PLATE |
Attach the 7 clips to install the side plate.
Install the 4 screws.
| 12. INSTALL JACK CARRIER ASSEMBLY (for Short Body) |
Install the jack carrier with the 7 clips.

| 15. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY |
| 16. INSTALL REAR FLOOR NO. 1 BOARD |
| 17. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY |
| 18. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM POCKET SUB-ASSEMBLY |
| 19. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH |
| 20. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Short Body) |
Attach the 8 claws to install the scuff plate.
| 21. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Long Body) |
Attach the 9 claws and 2 clips to install the scuff plate.
| 22. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
| 23. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT |
Check the SRS warning light (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000XFA03UX.html).
