  1. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER INNER LH

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER INNER RH

  5. INSTALL CONSOLE REAR END PANEL

  6. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX

  8. INSTALL SWITCH BASE

  9. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

  11. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

Center Airbag Sensor Assembly -- Installation


CAUTION:
Be sure to read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing it (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000KT106QX.html).


1. INSTALL CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the airbag sensor with the 3 bolts.

    Torque:
    17.5 N*m{179 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    1. If the airbag sensor has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case, bracket or connector, replace it with a new one.
    2. When installing the airbag sensor, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.

  1. Connect the airbag sensor connectors.



2. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Install the rear console box with the 2 bolts and attach the wire harness clamp.

  1. Install the 2 screws.



3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER INNER LH

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the instrument panel bracket cover.



4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER INNER RH


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the instrument panel bracket cover.



5. INSTALL CONSOLE REAR END PANEL

  1. Attach the 6 claws to install the console rear end panel.



6. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Connect the connectors.

  1. Attach the 4 clips to install the upper rear console panel.



7. INSTALL CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Attach the 2 clips to install the cup holder box.

  1. Install the 2 screws.



8. INSTALL SWITCH BASE


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Connect the connectors.

  1. Attach the 2 clips and 2 claws to install the switch base.



9. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Connect the connectors.

  1. Attach the 4 clips to install the upper rear console panel.



10. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

  1. Attach the 4 clips to install the upper panel garnish.



11. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Attach the 4 clips to install the upper panel garnish.



12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

  1. Check the SRS warning light (RAV4_ACA30 RM000000XFA03UX.html).
