Transmission Oil Cooler -- Installation |
| 1. CONNECT OIL COOLER INLET HOSE |

Connect the hose to the transaxle and transmission oil filler tube.
| 2. INSTALL OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY |
 |
Install the tube with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 19 N*m{194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Make sure that the tube rotation stopper contacts the top part of the front engine mounting bracket.
| 3. CONNECT OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE |

Connect the hose to the transaxle and oil cooler tube.
| 4. CONNECT NO. 1 AND NO. 2 TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES |
 |
Connect the 2 hoses to the transmission oil filler tube and oil cooler tube.
Install the 2 automatic transmission oil cooler tube clamps to the radiator.
Install the 2 No. 1 flexible hose clamps to the radiator with the 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 5.5 N*m{56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf}
Connect the 2 hoses to the radiator.
Pass the 2 hoses through the 2 automatic transmission oil cooler tube clamps.
Connect the 2 hoses to the 2 No. 1 flexible hose clamps, and close the 2 clamps.
| 5. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID |
| 6. INSPECT AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID |
Inspect the automatic transaxle fluid (RAV4_ACA30 RM0000016SC02NX.html).
