  2. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

  3. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light)

  4. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

  5. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

  6. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light)

  8. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD (for 5 Door)

Rear Bumper -- Disassembly



1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

  1. Detach the 5 double-sided tapes and remove the rear bumper energy absorber from the rear bumper cover.

2. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

  1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

  1. Remove the 5 clamps and No. 5 floor wire.



3. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light)

  1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  1. Remove the 5 clamps and No. 5 floor wire.



4. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the 2 clamps and No. 5 floor wire.



5. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the No. 5 floor wire.


6. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light)
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the No. 5 floor wire.


7. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the No. 5 floor wire.


8. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

HINT:
Use the same procedure to remove the ultrasonic sensor clip on the other side.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip.



9. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

HINT:
Use the same procedure to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor on the other side.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.



10. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

HINT:
Use the same procedure to remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer on the other side.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer.



11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the guide and remove the rear bumper protector.
