  17. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  19. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

Front Bumper -- Disassembly



1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (w/ Bracket)

  1. Remove the 2 screws and front bumper extension mounting bracket.



2. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER LH (w/ Front Spoiler)

  1. Turn the 2 front spoiler No. 1 retainers 90° and remove the 2 front spoiler No. 1 retainers and front spoiler LH.



3. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER RH (w/ Front Spoiler)
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT STOPPER RH (w/ Fog Light)

  1. Detach the 2 claws and front bumper reinforcement stopper RH.



5. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 guides and remove the fog light assembly LH.



6. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


7. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 3 clips and remove the fog light cover LH.



8. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 3 clips and remove the front bumper hole cover LH.



10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


11. REMOVE TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and separate the washer nozzle sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Disconnect the washer nozzle sub-assembly from the washer hose.

    NOTICE:
    Washer nozzles cannot be reused.


12. REMOVE TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


13. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  1. Disconnect the No. 1 headlight cleaner hose from the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly.

  1. Detach the 5 clamps and remove the No. 1 headlight cleaner hose from the front bumper cover.



14. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  1. Remove the headlight cleaner clamp as shown in the illustration.

15. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

16. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

Use the same procedure to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor on the other side.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

17. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

HINT:
Use the same procedure to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer on the other side.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.



18. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  1. Detach the 7 clamps and remove the No. 2 engine room wire.



19. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

  1. Detach the 18 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.
