DESCRIPTION

The headlight leveling motor receives a signal from the headlight swivel ECU to operate. The headlight swivel ECU receives a signal indicating the operating conditions of the headlight leveling motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK FOR DTC

Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000000PKT0AFX.html).

Check for DTCs (LandCruiser RM000000PKT0AFX.html).
OK:
DTC B2417 or B2418 output does not occur.

Go to step 2

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (LandCruiser RM000003YMI00MX.html)

2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (LEVELING MOTOR)

Using the intelligent tester, perform the Active Test (LandCruiser RM000000PKV0J6X.html).

1. Temporarily replace the headlight leveling motor with a new or normally functioning one (LandCruiser RM000003QVM00WX.html).

for LED Headlight
1. Temporarily replace the headlight leveling motor with a new or normally functioning one (LandCruiser RM000003QVM00XX.html).

Check for DTCs (LandCruiser RM000000PKT0AFX.html).
OK:
DTC B2417 or B2418 output does not occur.

REPLACE HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY (LandCruiser RM0000038VH021X.html)

REPLACE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR (LandCruiser RM000003QVM00WX.html)

4.READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU)

Using the intelligent tester, read the Data List (LandCruiser RM000000PKV0J6X.html).
