ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL - REMOVAL

1. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE FLYWHEEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

Hold the crankshaft with SST.

Remove the 8 bolts and the flywheel.

4. REMOVE ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL

Using a knife, cut off the oil seal lip.

Using a screwdriver with the tip taped, pry out the oil seal.

  • After the removal, check that the crankshaft is not damaged. If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
