Power Outlet Socket (For Bench Seat Type) Removal


  1. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

  4. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

  5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL

  6. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER NO.2

Power Outlet Socket (For Bench Seat Type) -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

  1. Detach the 4 clips.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the integration control and panel assembly.



2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

  1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the instrument panel finish panel end LH.



3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

  1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the instrument panel finish panel end RH.



4. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH


  1. w/o Seat Heater System:



      Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155.Power Outlets (Int).Voltage Inverter (For 5 Door).Power Outlet Socket (For Bench Seat Type) Removal

    1. Put protective tape around the front console upper panel garnish.

    2. Detach the 5 clips and remove the front console upper panel garnish.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    1. Put protective tape around the front console upper panel garnish.

5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the 2 clips and remove the upper console panel.

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.



6. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, depress the claw labeled A from the front of the upper console panel.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


  1. While depressing the claw labeled A, detach the claw labeled B from the back of the upper console panel, and then push out the power outlet socket in the direction of the arrow in the illustration to remove it.
