  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE FUEL PUMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

Heater Fuel Pump -- Removal



1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Detach the 2 front clips of the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.

  1. While pulling the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly towards the front, detach the 2 rear pins, and then remove the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.



2. REMOVE FUEL PUMP SUB-ASSEMBLY
  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Detach the 2 clamps.

  1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clips and slide each clip to disconnect the heater fuel hose.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not apply excessive force to the hose.
    2. Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the fuel leaks.


  1. Remove the bolt and fuel pump sub-assembly.
