INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER

REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID (SKID CONTROL ECU)

CHECK FOR DTC

DTC C1A4A Skid Control Buzzer Circuit


DESCRIPTION

Based on pre-crash control, the driving support ECU warns the driver to be careful by sending a sounding signal to the skid control ECU to sound the skid control buzzer.
When the skid control ECU detects a malfunction in the skid control buzzer circuit, a malfunction signal is sent to the driving support ECU and a DTC is stored. Although the skid control ECU sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU, the relevant ABS DTCs are not stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER

  1. Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the skid control buzzer sounds (LandCruiser RM0000043KP00GX.html).

    ABS/VSC/TRC

    OK:
    Skid control buzzer sounds.

2.REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID (SKID CONTROL ECU)

  1. for LHD:
    Replace the master cylinder solenoid (LandCruiser RM00000171U02DX_01_0023.html).

  1. for RHD:
    Replace the master cylinder solenoid (LandCruiser RM00000171U02EX_01_0023.html).

3.CHECK FOR DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM0000043K500GX.html).

  1. Check for DTCs (LandCruiser RM0000043K500GX.html).

    OK:
    DTC C1A4A is not output.
