Pre-Crash Safety System -- Dtc Check / Clear



CHECK DTC

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  3. Enter the following menus: Body / (desired system) / DTC.

  4. Check for DTCs.

    HINT:
    As the driving support ECU and seat belt control ECU output DTCs for the pre-crash safety system, be sure to check the DTCs for Pre-Crash and Pre-Crash 2.

CLEAR DTC

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  3. Enter the following menus: Body / (desired system) / DTC.

  4. Clear the DTCs.

    HINT:
    As the driving support ECU and seat belt control ECU output DTCs for the pre-crash safety system, be sure to check the DTCs Pre-Crash and Pre-Crash 2.
