  1. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH

  2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE DOUBLE LOCK DOOR CONTROL RELAY ASSEMBLY

Door Control Relay -- Removal

  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Detach the clip and claw and remove the cowl side trim board.



3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

  1. Put protective tape around the instrument side panel.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 clips, claw, and 3 guides.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the instrument side panel.



4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT

  1. Put protective tape around the instrument panel ornament.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 clips and remove the instrument panel ornament.



5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the screw.



  1. Detach the 3 clips and 2 guides and remove the No. 2 instrument panel under cover.

6. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts <C> and 2 screws <A> or <B>.

  1. Detach the 5 clips and claw.

  1. Disconnect each connector and remove the glove compartment door.



7. REMOVE DOUBLE LOCK DOOR CONTROL RELAY ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the nut and double lock door control relay.
