- Take extra care when handling these precision electronic components.
1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER (except Separate Type) |
Twist a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow in the illustration, and remove the transmitter housing cover.

- Do not forcibly pry open the cover.
- HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
2. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE (except Separate Type) |
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
Using a precision screwdriver, remove the door control transmitter module.

3. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY (except Separate Type) |
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
Twist a coin in the direction of the arrow in the illustration and remove the transmitter battery cover.
Remove the battery (lithium battery: CR2016).
- NOTICE:
- Do not push the terminals with your finger.
- Do not forcibly pry up the battery. The terminals may become damaged.
- Do not touch the battery with wet hands. Water may cause rust.
- Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter. It may cease to work.
4. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (except Separate Type) |
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
Install a new battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side facing upward as shown in the illustration.
- NOTICE:
- Be careful not to bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.
- Keep the transmitter cover interior free of dust and oil.
Install the cover.
5. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE (except Separate Type) |
Install the door control transmitter module.
6. INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER (except Separate Type) |
Install the transmitter housing cover to the transmitter housing case.
Check that the transmitter LED illuminates 3 times when a switch is pressed 3 times.
7. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Separate Type) |
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
Twist a coin in the direction of the arrow in the illustration and remove the transmitter housing cover.
Remove the battery (lithium battery: CR2032).
- NOTICE:
- Do not push the terminals with your finger.
- Do not forcibly pry up the battery. The terminals may be damaged.
- Do not touch the battery with wet hands. Water may cause rust.
- Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter. It may interfere with proper operation.
8. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Separate Type) |
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.
Install a new battery (lithium battery: CR2032) with the positive (+) side facing upward as shown in the illustration.
- NOTICE:
- Do not bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.
- Keep the transmitter cover interior free of dust and oil.
Install the transmitter housing cover.
Press one of the transmitter switches and check that the LED illuminates.
