LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM - Air Conditioning Control Panel does not Operate


DESCRIPTION

When a switch of the integration control and panel assembly or air conditioning control assembly* is operated, the integration control and panel assembly or air conditioning control assembly* uses LIN communication to communicate with the air conditioning amplifier. If a switch of the integration control and panel assembly or air conditioning control assembly* does not operate properly, a problem with the LIN communication between the integration control and panel assembly or air conditioning control assembly* and air conditioning amplifier may be causing the malfunction.

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL)
  1. Disconnect the G25 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

  1. Disconnect the G23 integration control and panel assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection

    G25-37 (LIN1) - G23-3 (LIN1)

    Below 1 Ω
    G25-37 (LIN1) or G23-3 (LIN1) - Body ground

  1. Disconnect the G24 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

  1. Disconnect the T7*1 or T3*2 air conditioning control assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    w/ Rear Seat Heater
