Navigation Antenna -- Removal |

- Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
- The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
1. PRECAUTION |
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- CAUTION:
- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY |
4. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT |

Remove the 4 screws <A> and No. 1 heater to register duct.
5. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 heater to register duct.
6. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT |

Remove the screw <A>.
Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.
7. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.
8. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY |

Remove the 4 screws <A> and defroster nozzle.
9. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY |
Detach the 2 clamps.

Remove the 2 screws and navigation antenna assembly.
