Differential Pressure Sensor -- On-Vehicle Inspection



1. INSPECT DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR
  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  1. Remove the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.

  1. Slide the clamp and disconnect the air hose from the differential pressure sensor.

  1. Install SST to the differential pressure sensor.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Turn the GTS on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / DPF Differential Pressure.

  1. Apply pressure to the differential pressure sensor assembly.

  1. Check the pressure value of the differential pressure sensor.

    Standard pressure:
    Approximately the same pressure as the applied pressure is indicated on the GTS.
    NOTICE:
    Perform the inspection within the range of 0 to 98 kPa (0 to 1.0 kgf/cm2, 0 to 14.2 psi).
    If the result is not as specified, check the differential pressure sensor circuit.
  1. Remove SST from the differential pressure sensor.

  1. Connect the air hose to the differential pressure sensor, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.

  1. Install the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.
