Fuel Filter (For Engine Room Side) Inspection

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

1. Measure the resistance between terminal 2 and the heater body.
   

2. Apply a vacuum of 29 to 40 kPa (218 to 300 mmHg, 8.56 to 11.8 in.Hg) or higher to the vacuum switch port.
   

   Standard Resistance:

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   2 - Heater body	20°C (68°F)	0.5 to 2.0 Ω

   If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel heater assembly.
   

Inspect the clogging switch.

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
   

   Standard Resistance:

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 2	20°C (68°F)	Below 1 Ω

   If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel filter cap assembly.
