Camshaft Position Sensor Removal


  1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

  2. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR

  3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (for Intake Side)

  4. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (for Exhaust Side)

Camshaft Position Sensor -- Removal



1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

  1. Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the intake mass air flow meter connector.

  1. Detach the 4 clamps.

  1. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with air cleaner hose.



2. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR

  1. Disconnect the air pressure sensor connector.

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the air pressure sensor.

  1. Detach the wire harness and vacuum hose from the intake air connector.

  1. Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

  1. Loosen the hose clamp.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and intake air connector.



3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (for Intake Side)

  1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

  1. Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor.



4. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (for Exhaust Side)

  1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

  1. Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor.
