  1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 3 sensor bracket.



2. REMOVE NITROGEN OXIDES SENSOR
CAUTION:
To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, detach the connector and 3 clamps, and then disconnect the harness and controller portion (No. 1 sensor bracket).

  1. Using SST, remove the nitrogen oxides sensor.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts, detach the 2 clamps, and then remove the No. 1 sensor bracket from the nitrogen oxides sensor.
