CONFIRM WHETHER MALFUNCTION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY REPAIRED
DTC P2195 Oxygen (A/F) Sensor Signal Stuck Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 1) |
DESCRIPTION
Refer to DTC P0031 (LandCruiser RM00000187I050X_01.html).DTC Detection Drive Pattern | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
After the engine is fully warmed up, the accelerator pedal is released for 10 seconds or more immediately after the vehicle is accelerated to a speed of between 60 and 80 km/h (37 and 50 mph). | While fuel-cut operation performed (during vehicle deceleration), air fuel ratio sensor voltage is 2.12 V or more for 3.5 seconds (2 trip detection logic) |
|
MONITOR DESCRIPTION
When the air fuel sensor output indicates a lean value due to a malfunction in the sensor, the system cannot determine whether the air fuel ratio is rich and particulate matter may build up excessively in the DPF catalyst. The ECM monitors the air fuel ratio sensor voltage value when a fuel-cut is performed and detects whether this voltage value is abnormal. When the air fuel ratio sensor voltage value is 2.12 V or higher for 3.5 seconds or more, the ECM determines that the air fuel ratio sensor is malfunctioning and stores DTC P2195.INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- After replacing the ECM, the new ECM needs registration (LandCruiser RM0000012XK0AUX.html) and initialization (LandCruiser RM000000TIN08HX.html).
- HINT:
- Read freeze frame data using the GTS. Freeze frame data records the engine condition when malfunctions are detected. When troubleshooting, freeze frame data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or not, and other data from the time the malfunction occurred.
1.REPLACE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR |
Replace the air fuel ratio sensor (LandCruiser RM000004KGB00OX.html).
NEXT | |
2.CONFIRM WHETHER MALFUNCTION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY REPAIRED |
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Start the engine.
Turn the GTS on.
Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000000PDK1E5X.html).
Turn the engine switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
Start the engine and warm it up.
After the engine is fully warmed up, the accelerator pedal is released for 10 seconds or more immediately after the vehicle is accelerated to a speed of between 60 and 80 km/h (37 and 50 mph).
- CAUTION:
- When performing the confirmation driving pattern, obey all speed limits and traffic laws.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
Confirm that the pending DTC is not output again.
- HINT:
- Perform the following procedure using the GTS to determine whether or not the DTC judgment has been carried out.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / All Readiness.
Input DTC P2195.
Check the DTC judgment result.
Result GTS Display Result Proceed to Pending DTC DTC P2195 is output B All Readiness NORMAL A ABNORMAL B - HINT:
- If STATUS is INCOMPLETE or N/A, the accelerator pedal is released for 10 seconds or more immediately after the vehicle is accelerated to a speed of between 60 and 80 km/h (37 and 50 mph) again.
